EGO is one of the largest tool manufacturers in the world. That’s pretty amazing considering the firm has only been around since 1993.

The EGO of today is a brand built around cordless power equipment. That’s right, EGO only makes and sells cordless battery-powered tools for your home and yard.

For the past ten years, the company has been working on perfecting it’s ARC Lithium™ 56V battery technology. It was built specifically for the wear and tear that tools undergo. That means:

While the brand is own by a Chinese company called Chervon, the US R&D center employs over 400 professionals in northern Illinois.
