I've been trying to work out a good, cheap DC motor controller - I think I've got it!

So I've been looking and looking at power supplies, motor controllers, and the like and seen a few references to using a dimmer switch for lowering voltage and bridge rectifiers for converting AC to DC. Well I just happened to score on a whole lot of bridge rectifiers rated for 1600 volts and 25 amps (more than I will ever need!) so I threw a few things together to try them out...

Worked out really well, so I video tapped everything and uploaded the video to Youtube - check out the video, it explains it all and if you have any questions or comments feel free to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

I have a lot of bridge rectifiers left - Go here to get some!!!
